Reflux Monitoring System with pH/Impedance
Our catheter based reflux monitoring system supports both pH and impedance recording. Made from TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane), our catheters are designed with patient comfort in mind, small in diameter with a flexible structure but with a stiffened tip for ease of intubation, so making them very easy to work with. All catheters are latex free.
State of the art electrode technology provides quick 2-minutes calibration process, excellent measurement precision and long shelf life. Data is recorded over a period of 24 hours and then downloaded to a workstation for further analysis.
The pH Impedance Monitoring System runs with a compatible software to download, review and analyse its data. Physicians can quickly manage and calibrate devices, following simple and intuitive steps. They can also perform various calculations including SI, SSI and SAP, custom and export reports.

Advantages offered by Reflux Monitoring System with pH/Impedance
include:
- Combined pH-impedance system: Enables you to reliably distinguish between acid and non-acid episodes.
- Small lightweight but powerful recorder with large, easy to understand controls for ease of patient use.
- Features revolutionary analysis software simplifies interpretation of an impedance/pH study.
- Software guided quantitative analysis of bolus transit effectiveness.
Traditional pH recording only records acidic pH reflux episodes. Impedance/pH detects both acidic and non-acidic reflux episodes. Combined Impedance pH recording is clinically useful in the evaluation of symptoms under PPI therapy, as well as for hoarseness, unexplained cough, and applications of particular interest. |
